Behind The Scenes: 007 Skyfall

Below are a few shots from the process trailer they used for several of the driving scenes in the film.

I really love this shot. The color, and silhouetting are what really stand out to me.

Here’s a really cool little featurette about them shooting Bond in London.

Here’s a few behind the scene stills from when they shot in Turkey, taken from this video.

And, y’know, Roger Deakins, just doing some handheld with the Alexa.

One thing I found very interesting, was the fact that they did all their helicopter shots during one of main climaxes of the film, during the day. It played extremely well as being night!

If Roger Deakins doesn’t get an oscar for his work on this, I’m gonna be really upset. If you haven’t gone to see this film yet, I highly recommend that you do!
